Eric Portnoy, born on August 16, 1989, in Mexico City, is a passionate consumer of science fiction, fantasy, and video games. He has held various jobs, including event organizer and computer technician. Presently, he works as a public relations officer for a renowned Japanese video game company.

Portnoy, also known as "Barbarian", has always had an affinity for storytelling. Since his childhood, he has been creating worlds where fantastic events occur, a practice he continues to this day. He strives to improve his living environment, his relationships with others, and the way he interacts with those around him. He writes with loud music and seizes every free moment to pen his thoughts. Though he has just released his first book, he is hopeful that it will not be his last.
