Eddie Gorodetsky is a television writer and producer renowned for his work on various prominent television shows. His impressive credits span a range of genres and include works such as Desert Bus, Two and a Half Men, Dharma & Greg, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The Big Bang Theory, Saturday Night Live, SCTV Network 90, and Late Night with David Letterman. Throughout his career, Gorodetsky has been recognized for his contributions to television with six Emmy Award nominations, securing a win for one of them.
Before embarking on his illustrious television career, he worked at WBCN in Boston. It was during this time that he caught the attention of the producers from Second City Television, propelling his entry into the television industry.
Apart from his professional achievements, Gorodetsky has nurtured a personal holiday tradition for over two decades, curating Christmas compilations filled with rare and obscure songs across various genres. These compilations, which he originally created for friends and family, gained wider recognition when one of them was released commercially in the early 1990s under the title Christmas Party with Eddie G.
Gorodetsky's talents also extend to the radio. He produced Bob Dylan's weekly radio series, Theme Time Radio Hour, and had the unique opportunity to work closely with Dylan.
