Derek Landy is an Irish author and screenwriter, best known for his work on the popular Skulduggery Pleasant series and the Demon Road series. In addition to his novels, Landy has made a significant impact in the world of comic books through his work with Marvel Comics since 2018.

Landy's talents extend to the world of film writing, having penned two screenplays that were adapted into films: the IFTA award-winning Dead Bodies and the IFTA-nominated Boy Eats Girl.
