David Arnold

David Arnold is an English film composer renowned for his scores for a host of successful films and television series. Born on 23 January 1962, Arnold has crafted music for five James Bond films (1997-2008), alongside other major Hollywood blockbusters including Stargate (1994), Independence Day (1996), Godzilla (1998), Shaft (2000), 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), Four Brothers (2005), and Hot Fuzz (2007). His work extends to acclaimed TV series including Little Britain and Sherlock. His exceptional contribution to Independence Day earned him a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Composition Written for a Motion Picture or for Television. Moreover, Arnold, in collaboration with Michael Price, secured a Creative Arts Emmy for their Sherlock score "His Last Vow," the concluding episode of the third series. In recent years, he composed for the BBC / Amazon Prime series Good Omens (2019), adapted by Neil Gaiman from the novel by Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Arnold is a respected fellow of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors.
