Cyril Meir Scott was an English composer, writer, poet, and occultist. He exhibited a prolific output, having created around four hundred musical compositions including piano, violin, cello concertos, symphonies, and operas. Apart from his musical endeavors, Scott was a writer who penned approximately 20 pamphlets and books on occult topics and natural health.
His work as a composer was influenced by the Impressionism movement. In addition to composing and performing, Scott devoted significant efforts to literature and poetry. He had a profound interest in occult sciences and nutrition, and he was a staunch believer in occultism, which he perceived as a blend of science, philosophy, and religion.
