Christina Henry

Christina Henry, born Tina Raffaele in 1974 in New York, USA, is a prominent American novelist known for her work in the horror and dark fantasy genres. Writing under the pseudonym Christina Henry, she combines her own name (Tina) with the names of her husband (Chris) and son (Henry). She is celebrated for her Black Wings series, a national bestseller, and her unique retellings of classic children's tales. Notable works include The Chronicles of Alice series, Lost Boy (2017), inspired by J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, and The Girl in Red (2019), a fresh take on Little Red Riding Hood.

Henry's other acclaimed novels include Good Girls Don't Die, Horseman, Near the Bone, The Ghost Tree, Looking Glass, The Mermaid, and the urban fantasy Black Wings series. Her short stories have been featured in various anthologies such as Elemental Forces, Cursed, and Kicking It.

Outside her writing, Christina enjoys long-distance running, reading, and watching subtitled films featuring samurai or zombies. She currently resides in Chicago with her family.
