Prior to embarking on a writing career, Cat held roles as a lawyer and a teacher, and took on various other jobs which were less enjoyable compared to crafting narratives of love and fulfillment for the queer community. Cat hails from New Jersey and has resided in New York and Arizona before finding home in the southern swamplands.
