Bryan Lee O'Malley

Bryan Lee O'Malley is a Canadian cartoonist renowned for his work on the Scott Pilgrim series. His talent extends beyond illustration as he is also a gifted musician, performing under the alias Kupek.

O'Malley's first original graphic novel, Lost at Sea, was released in 2003. However, his most acclaimed work is the six-volume Scott Pilgrim series, published between 2004 and 2010 by Oni Press. His narrative and artistic style gained a substantial following, and the series was later adapted into a motion picture and video games.

In July 2014, O'Malley introduced another significant work, his graphic novel Seconds, published by Ballantine Books. Aside from his successful publishing career, O'Malley has also been involved in music, contributing his songwriting skills and performances to several short-lived Toronto bands before adopting his current musical moniker.
