Bill Morrison is a distinguished comic book artist and writer, widely recognized for his role as the co-founder of Bongo Comics, alongside notable figures such as Matt Groening, and Steve and Cindy Vance. Born and raised in Lincoln Park, Michigan, a charming suburb south of Detroit, Morrison cultivated his artistic talents at the esteemed College for Creative Studies.
Notably an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, Morrison contributed his artistic expertise to the organization by creating the mural A Century of Values, in honor of the BSA's centennial in 2010. His early career in the 1980s commenced as a technical illustrator at Artech, Inc., located in Livonia, Michigan. His journey in the world of illustration then led him to work for Disney, where he honed his skills further.
Morrison later became an integral part of the The Simpsons team as an illustrator and ventured into creating his own comic, Roswell. His dedication to the craft has earned him the position of creative director at Bongo Comics, where he continues to influence the industry with his visionary work.
