Aziz Ismail Ansari is an American actor, filmmaker, and stand-up comedian, renowned for his role as Tom Haverford on the NBC series Parks and Recreation and as creator and star of the Netflix series Master of None. For his work on Master of None, he has received numerous accolades including two Emmys and a Golden Globe, making history as the first Indian American and Asian American actor to win a television acting award.
Ansari's comedic career began while he was a student at NYU Stern in 2000, performing in New York City. His comedic prowess led him to co-create and star in the MTV sketch comedy show Human Giant.
