Ashwin Sanghi is an Indian writer born on 25 January 1969. He is known for his works in the historical-fiction genre. His notable novels include The Rozabal Line, Chanakya's Chant, The Krishna Key, The Sialkot Saga, Keepers Of The Kalachakra, The Vault of Vishnu, and The Magicians of Mazda.
Besides being a successful novelist, Ashwin is also an accomplished businessman. He completed his schooling at the Cathedral & John Connon School and holds a B.A. in Economics from St. Xavier’s College and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Yale School of Management. Sanghi's first novel, The Rozabal Line, was originally self-published in 2007 under the pseudonym Shawn Haigins. It was later published by Westland in 2008 and 2010 under his real name and became a national bestseller.
His second novel, Chanakya’s Chant, is also part of the historical-fiction genre and has remained on AC Nielsen’s India Bookscan Top-10 list.
