Anna Funder is an Australian author born in 1966. She is widely recognized for her works Stasiland, All That I Am, Wifedom: Mrs Orwell’s Invisible Life, and the novella The Girl With the Dogs.

Anna's novel Wifedom was a Sunday Times Bestseller and a New York Times Notable Book of 2023.

In addition to her writing career, Anna has also worked as an international lawyer and a radio and television producer. She currently resides in Sydney with her husband and family.
