Angela Morrison is an award-winning author who finds inspiration in the whispers of characters like Gavin from her debut picture book, Rockhound. She listens intently, scribbling and revising until a story is born. In addition to writing, she loves spending time with her grandchildren, teaching writers of all ages, and scuba diving with sharks.

Angela holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a BA in English from BYU. She resides in Peoria, Arizona with her husband.
