Andy McDermott is a British thriller author and former magazine editor, film critic, and journalist. He is best known for his Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase novels.

Andy was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and now resides in Bournemouth. During his journalism career, he edited several titles, including DVD Review and the iconoclastic film publication Hotdog. Now, Andy devotes his time to being a full-time writer.
