Amelia Atwater-Rhodes

Amelia Holt Atwater-Rhodes, known professionally as Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, is an acclaimed American author of fantasy and young adult literature. She was born on April 16, 1984, in Silver Spring, Maryland, and spent most of her life in Concord, Massachusetts. Her notable debut novel, In the Forests of the Night, was published in 1999 when she was just fourteen years old.

Amelia is widely recognized for her contributions to the fantasy genre, often being referred to as the "successor of Anne Rice" due to her vampire-themed narratives. Her most renowned work is the Den of Shadows series, which chronicles the story of a vampire woman named Risika.

Apart from her writing career, Amelia is also a Language Arts/Literature teacher at Learning Prep School in West Newton, MA. She has displayed a passion for literature and education, influencing young minds with her literary prowess.
