Yangsze Choo is a New York Times bestselling novelist and a fourth-generation Malaysian of Chinese descent. Due to a childhood spent in various countries, she can eavesdrop (though not very well) in several languages. After graduating from Harvard University in 1995, she worked in various corporate jobs before turning to fiction writing.
Her debut novel, The Ghost Bride, was a New York Times bestseller and was adapted into a Netflix Original series. Her second novel, The Night Tiger, was a selection of Reese Witherspoon's Book Club and was chosen for the Big Jubilee Read in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.
Yangsze currently resides in California with her family, where she continues to write, often with a piece of chocolate by her side. Her upcoming novel, The Fox Wife, is eagerly anticipated by her readers.
