William King is a prolific author and award-winning game designer. He is best known for his contributions to the Warhammer series, particularly for creating the iconic characters Gotrek & Felix. Over his career, King has authored more than 30 novels, with over a million copies sold in English alone.

In addition to his novels, King’s short stories have been featured in publications such as Interzone and Years Best SF. Notably, his novel Blood of Aenarion was shortlisted for the 2012 David Gemmell Legend Award.

Beyond writing, King has made significant contributions to game design, earning an Origins Award for his work. Although currently focused on writing, he continues to explore game design concepts.

William King resides in Prague, Czech Republic, with his family. Outside of writing, he enjoys playing MMOs and is an active participant in the gaming community.
