Wally Runnels was born in San Diego and raised along the border at his family's ranch. He has traveled extensively through Mexico and Latin America. Living on the border between two countries, he has encountered a myriad of unusual individuals, including Hollywood personalities, Border Patrol Officers, smugglers, professional trackers, as well as others whose names remain undisclosed.
