Victoria Aveyard is an American writer known for her contributions to young adult and fantasy fiction, as well as screenwriting. She was born on July 27, 1990, and hails from a small town in Western Massachusetts.

Victoria is a graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, where she earned a BFA in Writing for Film & Television in 2012. Shortly after graduating, she wrote her debut novel, Red Queen, which became a significant success. She has since published the #1 New York Times bestselling series, Red Queen, as well as the bestselling Realm Breaker trilogy.

Her works have been translated into over 40 languages, reaching a global audience. In addition to her novels, Aveyard has worked with Sony Pictures on the spec screenplay Eternal.

Victoria resides in Los Angeles with her partner and their dog, Indy. Her upcoming adult fantasy debut, Tempest, is expected to release in 2026.
