Trish Doller has been a writer since she began to weave words into sentences. Her journey to publication began much later, an endeavor for which readers are grateful. Her debut young adult novel, Something Like Normal, was a 2012 American Booksellers Association New Voices pick and was selected for the YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults list in 2013. Doller has penned four additional YA novels, including Start Here, acknowledged on the YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults list in 2020. In 2021, she made her entrance into women's fiction with Float Plan.
Born in Berlin, Germany, she was raised in Sandusky, Ohio. Her varied career has included working at Cedar Point amusement park, graduating from Ohio State University with a degree in Journalism, serving as a radio personality, a newspaper staff writer, and a bookseller. Doller is a mother to two adult children who are exploring the globe. Apart from writing, she enjoys sailing, travel, and shirking household chores. She resides in Florida, accompanied by a discerning herding dog and a former pirate.
