His vivid storytelling extends to a retelling of the Star Wars saga for Lucasfilm and a collaboration with Mo Willems on The Story of Diva & Flea.
In 2018, the Norman Rockwell Museum honored DiTerlizzi's career with a record-breaking retrospective exhibition, Never Abandon Imagination. His work has been spotlighted by various media outlets including Time, USA Today, CNN, PBS, NPR, the BBC, and The Today Show.
"Imagination is a world of possibility that exists within each of us," DiTerlizzi says. "Imagination empowers us to envision and create a reality of what could be. We must hold it dear, foster it and never abandon it."
