Thomas Michael Fletcher (born 17 July 1985) is an English musician, composer, author, and vlogger. He is one of the lead vocalists and rhythm guitarist of the British pop rock band McFly, in addition to being the group's founder.

In his 20-year career as a professional songwriter, Fletcher has written 10 UK number one singles and 21 top-ten singles. He is credited with writing songs for One Direction, Busted, The Vamps, and 5 Seconds of Summer.

Tom Fletcher is also one of the UK's most popular children's authors. His books have been translated into 41 languages, and he has sold over 6 million copies in the UK alone and 10 million globally. The Christmasaurus was the biggest debut children's novel of 2016 and was shortlisted for a British Book Award. Since then, Tom has published several more chart-topping children's novels, including The Christmasaurus and the Naughty List, The Creakers, and the instant number-one bestseller The Danger Gang. For younger readers, he writes the successful Who's in Your Book? picture-book series and is one half of the author duo behind it.
