Timothy Willocks, known as Tim Willocks, is a British physician and novelist born on October 27, 1957, in Stalybridge, Cheshire, England.

Willocks studied medicine at the University College Hospital Medical School and has dedicated a significant part of his career to the rehabilitation of drug addiction sufferers. In addition to his medical career, Willocks is an accomplished martial artist, holding a second dan black belt in Shotokan karate.

In his literary works, Willocks frequently incorporates elements of medicine and martial arts. His most successful book to date, The Order, which depicts the Ottoman siege of Malta from the perspective of a fictional captain, Mattias Tannhauser, was a bestseller. A sequel was anticipated around 2020.

Willocks is also known for his affection for poker and was rumored to have had a relationship with Madonna. His novel Bad City Blues was adapted into a film in 1999, featuring Dennis Hopper. He also wrote The Unfinished Journey, a documentary about Steven Spielberg.
