Tiffany Reisz

Tiffany Reisz is an acclaimed American author, celebrated for her distinct narrative style in the erotic literature genre. She has garnered widespread recognition for her Original Sinners series, a collection of works that has not only thrilled readers with its compelling storytelling but also earned her prestigious accolades such as the RITA Award and a Lambda Literary Award. Reisz's literature, often described as "smart smut" by NPR and likened to "Fifty Shades for adults" by Salon, is notable for its witty depiction of sex, alongside a heavy infusion of religious imagery and themes. In 2014, her commitment to diversity in character representation was lauded by USA Today.

Reisz's journey into the world of writing commenced during her time at Asbury Theological Seminary and Centre College, where she pursued studies in English. Her dedication to crafting stories led her to leave the seminary, focusing fully on her fiction work, which resulted in the creation of The Siren, a novel that has since sold more than half a million copies worldwide. Beyond the realm of erotic fiction, Reisz also ventures into mainstream women's suspense, with notable works including The Bourbon Thief and The Night Mark, the latter being nominated for a RITA® award.

Her self-published erotic fantasy, The Red, not only received critical acclaim, being named an NPR Best Book of the Year and a Goodreads Best Romance of the Month, but also secured a coveted starred review from Library Journal. Reisz's literary repertoire continues to expand, most recently with The Pearl, the third book in the Godwicks erotic fantasy series, and the upcoming 10th Anniversary edition of The Headmaster, slated for publication in September 2024.

Residing in Louisville, Kentucky, Tiffany shares her life with her husband, fellow author Andrew Shaffer, and their two cats—none of whom, she humorously notes, have taken up writing.
