Tara Hudson was born and raised in Oklahoma. She graduated with a degree in law, largely due to believing the horror stories about English majors and their careers in the food-service industry. Fortunately, she soon rediscovered her passion for telling ghost stories, especially to her friends who shared her interest in visiting abandoned cemeteries.

Tara currently resides in Oklahoma with her husband, son, and a variety of misbehaving pets.
