T. L. Shreffler was born and raised in Burbank, CA, just a few blocks away from Warner Bros. and Disney studios. Inspired by a creative community of friends, family, and neighbors, she dedicated herself to her creative goals since her teen years. She began writing The Cat's Eye Chronicles and other works at the age of 12.

In 2020, she moved to Washington State and currently resides in Snohomish County with her family. She holds a BA in Eloquence (English) and her poetry has been published in Eclipse: A Literary Journal and The Northridge Review. Shreffler loves diversity, travel, and experiencing different cultures; she strives to evoke a similar sense of wonder at the unfamiliar in her readers.
