Sunny is a family practice physician and Vassar graduate who ventured into writing due to the influence and success of her family members. To her surprise, she discovered a passion and talent for writing, finding it much more enjoyable than her medical career. As an author, she has made appearances on Geraldo at Large and CNBC. Her literary achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including the esteemed PRISM Award.

Besides her literary pursuits, Sunny dedicates her time to editing her husband’s books, the works of literary novelist Da Chen, and supports her son in his acting career as a dedicated stage mom.
