Sue Lynn Tan is a fantasy author whose work is deeply inspired by the myths and legends she cherished from childhood. Born in Malaysia, she pursued her studies in London and France before making her home in Hong Kong with her family.

Her journey into the world of stories began with a cherished gift from her father: her first compilation of fairytales from around the world. After devouring every fable in the library, she discovered fantasy books and spent much of her childhood immersed in magical worlds.

When not writing or reading, she enjoys exploring the hills and reservoirs of Hong Kong, as well as its temples, beaches, and narrow winding streets.

She is the author of Daughter of the Moon Goddess and Heart of the Sun Warrior. Her books have been translated into seventeen languages and are recognized as USA Today and Sunday Times bestsellers.
