Stephen R. Lawhead

Stephen R. Lawhead is an internationally acclaimed author known for his works of mythic history and imaginative fiction. Born on July 7, 1950, in Nebraska, USA, Lawhead has made a significant impact in the genres of fantasy, science fiction, and historical fiction, particularly focusing on Celtic historical fiction.

He has written over 28 novels and numerous children's and non-fiction books. Some of his notable works include Byzantium, Patrick, and the series The Pendragon Cycle, The Celtic Crusades, and The Song of Albion.

Stephen earned a university degree in Fine Arts and also attended theological college for two years. His initial professional writing career began at Campus Life magazine in Chicago, where he served as an editor and staff writer, producing hundreds of articles and several non-fiction books.
