Stephen R. Lawhead

Stephen R. Lawhead is an internationally acclaimed author of mythic history and imaginative fiction. He is particularly known for his works of fantasy, science fiction, and historical fiction, with a strong focus on Celtic historical fiction.

Born on July 7, 1950, in Nebraska, USA, Stephen spent most of his early life in America. He earned a degree in Fine Arts and later attended theological college for two years. His initial foray into professional writing began at Campus Life magazine in Chicago, where he served as an editor and staff writer. Over five years, he penned hundreds of articles and several non-fiction books.

Stephen's acclaimed works include Byzantium, Patrick, and several series such as The Pendragon Cycle, The Celtic Crusades, and The Song of Albion.
