Stephen Edward Robinson (May 23, 1947 – June 17, 2018) was a renowned religious scholar and apologist, well-known for his membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). He embarked on his academic journey at Brigham Young University, where he pursued a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, graduating in 1971. Robinson's quest for knowledge didn't stop there; he went on to achieve a PhD in Biblical Studies from Duke University in 1978. His passion for teaching led him to a long-standing position at Brigham Young University starting in 1986.
