Stephen Baxter

Stephen Baxter is a renowned English science fiction author. Born on November 13, 1957, in Liverpool, United Kingdom, he is a trained engineer with degrees from Cambridge University in mathematics and from Southampton University with a doctorate in aeroengineering research.

Baxter has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the British Science Fiction Award, the Locus Award, and has been a nominee for the Arthur C. Clarke Award, most notably for Manifold: Time. His novel Voyage won the Sidewise Award for Best Alternate History Novel of the Year; he also won the John W. Campbell Award and the Philip K. Dick Award for his novel The Time Ships. He is known for collaborating with Sir Arthur C. Clarke on various projects.

Stephen Baxter resides in Prestwood, England and continues to contribute significantly to the field of science fiction literature.
