Stephanie Laurens

Stephanie Laurens was born in Sri Lanka, then known as Ceylon, on August 14, 1953. At the age of five, her family relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where she grew up and later earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.


Stephanie and her husband embarked on an adventurous overland journey from Kathmandu to London, where they both worked as research scientists in Kent. Their home was rich in history, surrounded by 16th-century architecture and ancient Roman ruins.


After four enriching years in England, Stephanie returned to Australia, where she began her illustrious career as a best-selling author of romance novels.
