Stasi Eldredge is passionate about speaking and writing to women about the goodness of God. Her early years were spent in Prairie Village, Kansas, a place she holds dear. At the age of ten, her family relocated to southern California, during a period notorious for severe smog issues.

Stasi developed a love for theater and acting during her high school years, where she also met her future husband, John. She pursued higher education at San Diego State University, primarily attracted by its proximity to the beach, and earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology. It was during her junior year at college that she embraced Christianity and became actively involved with Campus Crusade for Christ.

After completing her studies, Stasi Eldredge joined Youth for Christ, where she led a ministry focused on supporting pregnant teenagers and teen mothers.
