Stacia Kane is an American writer renowned for her work in romantic erotica, urban fantasy, and horror. She resides outside of Atlanta, Georgia, with her British husband and their daughters.

Before becoming a full-time writer, Kane held various jobs including phone psychic, customer service representative, bartender, and movie theatre usher. Her experience in professional publishing spans over four years.

Kane is best known for her "Megan Chase" series, beginning with "Personal Demons." She currently writes the gritty dystopian urban fantasy "Downside" series, which features Chess Putnam and themes like ghosts, human sacrifice, drugs, witchcraft, punk rock, and a badass '69 Chevelle.
