Stacey Kade (also known as Stacey Klemstein and S. A. Barnes) is a talented American author from Chicago, Illinois. She is known for her work in the genres of paranormal romance, fiction, sci-fi, and fantasy. Among her notable works is The Ghost and The Goth Trilogy.

Kade is the daughter of a minister and a music teacher, and she grew up reading Harlequin romances on the sly in the basement. She has authored two young adult series, The Ghost and Goth Trilogy and The Project Paper Doll Series, as well as two young adult contemporary standalone novels. Her contemporary romance duo for adults, 738 Days and Starlight Nights, both received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly.

Currently residing in the suburbs of Chicago, Stacey Kade lives with her husband, Greg, and their three dogs. Her recent release, Dead Silence, was published by Nightfire Books.
