Sophia Christina Amoruso is an American businesswoman born on April 20, 1984. She is renowned for founding Nasty Gal, a women's fast fashion retailer, which was recognized as one of "the fastest growing companies" by Inc. Magazine in 2012. Despite its success, Nasty Gal filed for bankruptcy. In 2017, Amoruso established Girlboss Media, a company dedicated to creating content to empower millennial women in their personal and professional lives.

Her 2014 autobiography, #GIRLBOSS, was adapted into a Netflix series named Girlboss.
