Scott Turow

Scott Frederick Turow is an American author and lawyer. Born on April 12, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, Turow worked as a lawyer for a decade before dedicating himself to writing full-time. He has authored 13 fiction and three nonfiction books, which have been translated into more than 40 languages and sold over 30 million copies globally. Turow’s novels are primarily set within the legal community of the fictional Kindle County. Several of his works have been adapted into films. Additionally, Turow has contributed essays and op-ed pieces to renowned publications such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, and The Atlantic.
