Sarah Dunant (born 8 August 1950) is a British novelist, journalist, broadcaster, and critic. She is renowned for her cultural commentary and award-winning thrillers, as well as her novels set in Renaissance Italy, which explore women's lives through the lenses of art, sex, and religion.

She lives in London and Florence with her two daughters.

Sarah also produces a monthly history program and podcast available via the BBC website.
