Sajni Patel is an award-winning author of women’s fiction and young adult books. She has been recognized on numerous Best of the Year and Must Read lists from high-profile outlets such as Cosmo, Teen Vogue, Apple Books, Audiofile, Tribeza, Austin Woman, NBC, The Insider, and many others.

Originally from India, Sajni moved to the United States at a young age and grew up in Texas, where she developed a southern accent and a love for diverse cuisines including Indian, BBQ, Tex-Mex, Mexican, and soul food. Her passions extend to the Marvel universe, animals, ube, and binge-watching Netflix. Sajni's eclectic interests are also reflected in her varied life experiences, which range from athletics to mixed martial arts.

Known for her love of chocolates from around the world, baby animals, and color and sparkles, Sajni humorously describes herself as the 'unicorn they warned you about'.
