Roxanne St. Claire

Roxanne St. Claire, affectionately known as Rocki, is an accomplished author with around sixty published books to her name. Her works have not only graced the bestseller lists of The New York Times and USA Today but have also earned her a coveted RITA Award from the Romance Writers of America, with ten nominations for this prestigious honor.

Rocki grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, as the youngest of five children. Her love affair with words began the summer she read Gone With The Wind. Inspired, she received a typewriter for her twelfth birthday and has been crafting stories ever since. Rocki graduated from UCLA with a degree in communications, which led her to explore acting and television broadcasting before entering the world of public relations.

She climbed the ranks to become Senior Vice President at the world's largest public relations firm. During her corporate career, she met her husband, Rich, in an elevator - twice! - leading to their marriage. They currently reside in northeastern Florida. Rocki is also a dedicated mother to two children and enjoys life with her two dogs, Ginger and Rosie.

Her journey into writing professionally began after reading a romance novel that deeply moved her, inspiring her to pursue writing full-time. Her first published book, Tropical Getaway, was released in 2003 by Simon & Schuster's Pocket Books. Since then, Rocki has embraced the ups and downs of a novelist's life, trading the corporate ladder for the publishing rollercoaster.

In her spare time, Rocki enjoys long walks with her dogs, spending time at the gym, and traveling. Her current hobby is "writing the Bible" by hand, a task she has given herself nine years to complete. She believes that verbs are the essence of life, with her favorites being "love, believe, and create."
