Roderick Gordon

Roderick Gordon is a British author, best known for the Tunnels series, a bestselling collection of children's books. Born in November 1960, Gordon grew up in Highgate, North London, and later attended University College where he studied genetics while indulging in his passion for music, particularly Joy Division. After graduating, Gordon ventured into the world of corporate finance, working in investment banking in London. However, in 2001, he was made redundant, a turning point that led him to pursue writing. In 2005, Gordon co-authored and self-published The Highfield Mole with a university friend, which later evolved into the successful Tunnels series.
