Robert P. Murphy

Robert Patrick Murphy, born on May 23, 1976, is an esteemed American economist known for his contributions to the Austrian School of economics. As a research assistant professor with the Free Market Institute at Texas Tech University, Murphy has built a distinguished career in economics. His affiliations span across renowned institutions, including Laffer Associates, the Pacific Research Institute, the Institute for Energy Research (IER), the Independent Institute, the Ludwig von Mises Institute, and the Fraser Institute.

Not only has Murphy made significant contributions to economic theory, but he is also a prominent figure in the realm of anarcho-capitalism and libertarian natural law. He is known for his insightful writings and publications, which include The Theory of Chaos, where he outlines his vision for a society governed by private law.

Murphy is an adjunct scholar of the Mises Institute and a faculty member of the Mises University, where he continues to share his expertise.
