Robert Lynn Asprin

Robert Lynn Asprin was an American science fiction and fantasy author, born on June 28, 1946. He was best known for his humorous series MythAdventures and Phule's Company. Asprin was also an active fan within the science fiction community.

In addition to his well-known series, Asprin wrote several stand-alone novels, including The Cold Cash War, Tambu, and The Bug Wars. He also co-wrote the Time Scout novels with Linda Evans and edited the groundbreaking Thieves' World anthology series with Lynn Abbey. His collaborations included works such as License Invoked, set in the French Quarter of New Orleans, and several Myth Adventures novels with Jody Lynn Nye.

Asprin's final solo series was a contemporary fantasy set in New Orleans titled Dragons. He passed away suddenly on May 22, 2008.
