Richard Thomas Osman is an English author, television presenter, producer, novelist, and comedian. He is best known as the creator and former co-presenter of the BBC One television quiz show Pointless. Beyond this, he has made notable contributions to television, presenting the BBC Two quiz shows Two Tribes and Richard Osman's House of Games, and serving as a team captain on the comedy panel shows Insert Name Here and The Fake News Show. His wit and charm have also made him a popular figure on British panel shows, including Would I Lie To You? and QI.
Before his on-screen career took off, Osman worked at Hat Trick Productions, where he honed his skills behind the scenes. He later stepped into the role of creative director at the television production company Endemol UK. His production credits include shows like Prize Island for ITV and the iconic Deal or No Deal for Channel 4.
