Ria Warrick grew up in Ashland, Oregon, and has loved reading since she was a little girl. Orphaned at the age of eight, she suffered abuse at the hands of some of her foster parents, eventually turning to drugs and men in search of love. Through her love of reading, Ria found what she really needed when she asked Jesus into her heart at the age of twenty-six.

As an aspiring author, Ria was initially unable to complete a story, always feeling something was missing. She nearly gave up until becoming a born-again Christian, after which she focused on her spiritual journey, education, and raising her children. Eventually, she decided to begin writing again.
