Ramlee Awang Murshid is a prominent Malaysian novelist known for his thrilling narratives. Born on November 4, 1967, in Papar, Malaysia, he is of Bruneian Malay descent. Ramlee is not only a novelist but also a writer for Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) since 1986.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Ramlee has made a significant mark in the literary world, particularly known for his thriller novels. He has won several writing competitions, notably the second prize for the Sako Award for National Novel 2002 with his novel Pei Pan. His success with Pei Pan is one of his most cherished achievements.
In the year 2000, he was also recognized as the Best Student in Mass Communication at UKM.
