Raina Telgemeier

Raina Telgemeier is an acclaimed American cartoonist, renowned for her autobiographical works and contributions to the graphic novel genre. Her breakthrough work, the webcomic Smile, was published as a full-color middle-grade graphic novel in February 2010. This was followed by titles like Sisters and the fictional graphic novel Drama, all of which have graced The New York Times Best Seller lists.

In addition to these, Telgemeier has both written and illustrated the graphic novels Ghosts and Guts. She also adapted and illustrated the first four graphic novels of The Baby-Sitters Club series by Ann M. Martin. Her works have not only captivated readers worldwide but have also earned her multiple Eisner Awards, a testament to her impact and talent in the comics community.

Raina Telgemeier's influence extends beyond her publications. She is the co-creator of The Cartoonists Club alongside Scott McCloud.
