Joaquín Salvador Lavado Tejón, better known by his pen name Quino (Spanish: [ˈkino]), was an Argentine cartoonist. His comic strip Mafalda (which ran from 1964 to 1973) is very popular in Latin America and many parts of Europe. It has been praised for its remarkable social satire.

Quino was born on 17 July 1932 and passed away on 30 September 2020. He was honored with the French Legion of Honor in 2014.
