Prince Harry

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, also known as Henry Charles Albert David, is a member of the British royal family. As the younger son of King Charles III and Diana, Princess of Wales, he is fifth in the line of succession to the British throne.

Educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College, Prince Harry completed army officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet into the Blues and Royals, serving alongside his older brother, William. Prince Harry has been deployed on active duty to Afghanistan twice, the first in 2007-2008 and the second in 2012-2013 with the Army Air Corps.

Inspired by the Warrior Games in the United States, he launched the Invictus Games in 2014 as founding patron. Alongside his brother William and sister-in-law Catherine, Prince Harry initiated the mental health awareness campaign Heads Together. In 2018, he received the title of Duke of Sussex prior to his wedding to American actress Meghan Markle. The couple has two children: Archie and Lilibet. In 2020, they stepped down as working royals, moved to Southern California, and launched Archewell Inc., a mix of for-profit and not-for-profit (charitable) business organizations. Prince Harry participated in an American television interview titled Oprah with Meghan and Harry with his wife and Oprah Winfrey in March 2021. The couple also released a Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, in December 2022. Prince Harry is a husband, father, humanitarian, military veteran, mental wellness advocate, and environmentalist. He resides in Santa Barbara, California, with his family and three dogs.
