Pawan Mishra is an award-winning author, producer, director, and a leader in the finance and technology industries. Born in 1976 in Aligarh, India, he completed his education at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Pawan lives in Apex, North Carolina, with his wife, Ritu, and two daughters, Mitali and Myra.

In January 2017, Huffington Post listed his novel Coinman: An Untold Conspiracy as one of the best independently published fiction books of 2016. He also conceptualized, produced, and directed the animation series My Teacher Hilda.
